    ▶ '당신이 이해해주셔서 다행이에요.'에서 '다행이다'는 glad 또는 happy를 써서 표현해요. ★ Story에서 주인공의 첫 번째 직업은 baby sitter(아기 봐주기)네요. I had a baby sister at home.에서 동사를 had라는 과거형으로 쓴 것은 예전에 아기인 여동생이 있었고, 지금은 다 컸기 때문이에요. 문장 뒷부분의 I used to help my mother clean up. (난 엄마가 청소하는 걸 도와드리곤 했어요.)에서 used to help는 지금은 도와드리지 않기 때문이죠. 이처럼, 'used to+동사원형'은, 당시는 그랬지만 지금은 해당되지 않는 행동이나 상황에 대해 묘사할 때 쓸 수 있어요.
