▶ 53. Farewell, Louise
Louise: Oh, no. I didn’t win the lottery yet. But I will keep trying, ha ha. This time I'm not talking about my lottery adventures. A few days ago when I was stuck in a traffic jam as usual, I glanced at myself in the side mirror. I felt sad that I was getting older just sitting there.
Then I suddenly realized that I really want to live life to the fullest and make my childhood dream come true.
Luckily, I’ve found a little old restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The area has some breathtaking scenery. From the restaurant balcony there is a spectacular view of the ocean.
Jenny: Have you signed a rental contract, Louise?
Louise: Oh, Jenny, my answer is…. Yes, I did!! So I am going to run my own restaurant, Louise’s Kitchen!
Everyone: Congratulations, Louise!
Bob: Louise, it saddens me that I have to let such a good co-worker and longtime friend go, but I am ready to let you go and make the next move in your life. I will wish for your happiness. Please do things that make you smile.
Louise: Oh, Bobby, I will miss your chubby cheeks and everyone else here, too. I was really lucky to have the chance to work with you all.
I can’t thank you enough for all that you have done for me. Thank you very much, everyone. I will miss you all.
Mathew: Alright, everybody, let’s give a cheer for those who are leaving to turn a new page in their lives! For their dreams, and a new future!
Everyone: Cheers!
