▶ 18. Coffee Break
Louise: Wow! The aroma of coffee really perks me up. You know, I feel there’s a lot of red tape to deal with - no time to take a minute so you can feel refreshed.
I can’t really complain, but I always flake out when I get home from work.
Ted: Hey, Louise, don’t let it get to you. You are putting too much pressure on yourself.
Louise: Yeah, I know, but the world is so unkind to people like me: no boyfriend, just passed the big four-oh. Did you hear that? I'm 40 and not in a relationship.
You know, my schedule fluctuates and my social time has dropped because of my work load. It’s so hard to make time for everything. Seriously, I really need to win the lottery so I can retire early.
Jenny: So, Louise, what was your dream when you were a child?
Louise: Me? Oh, well… I always wanted to be a cook, an Italian cook. So if I won the lottery, I would open my own restaurant, Louise’s Kitchen.
Ted: In order to achieve our dreams, we have to keep searching and stay hungry.
Louise: You guys are right. Maybe I need to find something I love to do and which makes my heart sing.
Bob: There you are, Louise! I’ve got your text saying Mr. Morris is coming tomorrow. Do you have any idea what the purpose of his visit is? What date is it tomorrow?
