영어 특유의 표현 방식인 감탄문! "What a silly dancer I am!"은 직역하면, "나는 얼마나 우습게 춤을 추는 사람인가!" 이죠. 감탄의 방식도, 한국말로는 나는 참 '실없다, 우습다'(=silly)라는 형용사 쪽에 초점이 맞춰진 데 반해, 영어식은 참 춤을 못추는 '댄서'(=dancer) 구나라는 표현으로, 명사에 더 초점을 두고 말한답니다. 이렇게 명사 식으로 말하는 방식의 예를 볼까요? - "I'm a good cook!"(=나 요리 잘해!) - 여기서는 I가 요리사가 아닙니다. - "I'm not a good writer."(=난 글 잘 못 써.) - 이 역시, I가 작가가 아닙니다. - "What a dancer!"(=춤 진짜 잘 춘다!)

Episode 34. Dancing Machine I love to watch music programmes on TV. One day, I turned on the TV and there was a music programme just about to start.
