Episode 54. Looking for Happiness II After leaving GTP course, he got two new jobs. One of his jobs was a substitute teacher, and the other one was teaching Taekwondo at a gym. "How was your interview?" I asked Mev about the job interview at school. "It was good. The school asked me to be a temporary teacher who has been sick for a long time." This meant that he would be able to work as a substitute physics teacher. "How was the interview at the gym?" "I'm going to teach kids next Saturday." "Oh great! Congratulations!" Actually, the reason Mev came to Korea is because he had a dream of opening a Taekwondo gym in England some day. Now he could be teaching kids at the gym. It was the first small step for his dream. And it happened at an unexpected time. When I saw his face, I could feel his happiness and it made me happier as well. He practiced Taekwondo every night and I advised him to get better kicks. "Penguin, will you help me?" I gave him a hand so he could improve his flexibility. "How's this?" I put chairs a bit wider. "It hurts!!! Come on!!!" Mev flapped his arms and wanted to survive from the pain! I took some photos of him so that he could check how wide he could stand on two chairs. "Ha ha! Are you a humming bird?" If Mev keeps on flapping his wings, he will get to open his own gym in the future. Right? There are many different ways to be happy and everybody deserves to be happy. Be happy.
